Terms

Terms and conditions

These terms cover the Arete website and the Android app Arete – IELTS Prep. Installing the app or using this site means you accept them. Purchases inside the app are also covered by Google Play’s terms.

European Economic Area

The store developer name is productpulseco. For customers in the European Economic Area, Google Play shows the trader contact under “About the developer” on the Arete listing.

Support for the app and this site is support@areteielts.com, the address on the Play listing. The app’s support screen says we aim to reply within 24 hours.

The app

Arete – IELTS Prep is an independent study app on Google Play, package com.arete.arete_mobile. It is free to start. It is not affiliated with IELTS, the British Council, IDP, or Cambridge, and it is not an examiner.

Any future Writing estimate would be a practice estimate, not an official IELTS score and not a prediction of a test-day result. That check is not in the app yet.

Purchases

Premium, if you buy it, is an in-app purchase on Google Play. The price is shown in the app and on Google Play before you pay. Arete does not take your card number. Google Play and RevenueCat handle the purchase and the entitlement.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the purchase contract for that digital content is made through Google Play and follows Google Play’s terms, including the consumer rules Google applies to those purchases. Refunds for a Play purchase are requested from Google Play, not from this website. This site does not sell a subscription and does not take a deposit.

This website

areteielts.com describes the app. It does not create an account, collect an email list, or grade an essay. The privacy note for this site is on the privacy page. The privacy policy linked from the Google Play listing is separate and covers the app.
